Someone once remarked that pain is the touchstone of spiritual progress. How heartily we A.A.'s can agree with him, for we know that the pains of alcoholism had to come before sobriety, and continued turmoil before serenity.

Suffering is optional !! made a point ssssshhhhh:)

Good to have choices today Billy, if it wasn't for the pain and untreated alcoholism the moment of clarity that the pain was to great, pretty sure I wouldn't be typing this.

Coog, love the last one a lot. That was me for awhile ago in some business dealings, had all the knowledge but wasn't taken the action required. Fixing that now.

And of course wisdom to know the difference came into play.
