From the Movie 'The End': Burt Reynolds is going to kill himself, wants to confess, but only a young Robby Benson is available, and Burt has trouble calling him 'Father'. Burt goes, 'What's your name?' to him; he responds 'Dave'. Burt goes 'Forgive me, Dave, for I have sinned'.

Preacher with bandaid on his chin; "I'm sorry about this bandaid. I cut my chin this morning when I was thinking about my sermon"

Voice from the congregation: "Next time why not think about your chin and cut the sermon?"

A little boy pulls on the preacher's hand to get his attention. Then says, "I'm going to give you money when I grow up." The preacher says, "Thank you very much but why do you want to give me money when you grow up?" The little boy replies, "My dad says that you are the "poorest" preacher we have ever had."

There was this lady who was visiting a church one Sunday. The sermon seemed to go on forever, and many in the congregation fell asleep. After the service, to be social, she walked up to a very sleepy looking gentleman, extended her hand in greeting, and said, "Hello, I'm Gladys Dunn." And the gentleman replied, "You're not the only one ma'am, I'm glad it's done too!"

Fun Fact: The word ‘disciple’ is derived from the Latin ‘disciplere’ which means ‘one who learns by doing.’
