About Me

I was diagnosed in October, 2006 after more than 3 years of tests and probing. I am an actor and former professional dancer. My life has changed drastically - I knew something was wrong long before the diagnosis. Even though I can no longer memorize scripts - I still do improv and street theatre. I don\'t dance anymore and miss it terribly, balance issues and leg weakness make it almost impossible. I\'ve tried sharing my MS info with my family, but through fear or denial, they just haven\'t really responded like I thought they would. They have a \"just put on your Big Girl Panties and deal\" attitude. They don\'t get how much my life has changed and what I have to deal with on a daily basis. Thankfully, my husband does get it and makes sure that I keep my sense of humor. He is my rock. He can\'t carry the load alone so that\'s where DailyStrength comes in (I hope).
