About Me
My name is Laura and we lost our 17-year old son, Jackson, from complications due to a car accident on August 21, 2013. We also have a 20-year old daughter Rachel who is off at school in Chicago. Our loss is still very fresh and we are struggling with how to live as empty nesters way too early. Jackson was incredibly smart, but also undisciplined and therefore our daily joy and frustration. We are doing our best to go forward in a world that no longer contains our son who we loved so much.
