Taking xanax to wean off ambien. Will continue to wean odd xanax soon.

Haven't taken ambien in 3 nights.

Feeling better today. Proud of myself for not drinking when my husband is gone. Also not taking ambien. We'll see what happens, but for he moment, feels ok.

Had long weekend at work. Still sober.Didn't take my ambien last night in attempt to quit and didn't fall asleep until 4am. Will try to power through anyway.

I have been in bed about 20 out of 24 hrs/day for last two days. Hard to think about drinking when you're asleep. Planning on going to AA first time tomorrow.

Still no drinking today, although I did have 3 sets of mini anxiety attacks. I took a xanax, which helped some.
