Yucky day...

Today was a yucky day, maybe it was the weather or maybe it was just a baby step backwards?  Went from sunny and 85 to rainy and 35.  My mood did the same thing went from smiling to crying...  :(  Can't complain, I did have 3 good days.  Just missing you today...  maybe it's also because today I received a Mothers Day card from a very good friend of Greg's.  Christine and Greg had known each other since Kndg.  I know she meant well by sending me a beautiful card, but it just reminded me it will be the only one this year...

Tomorrow will be better, tomorrow will be better...  Well if I keep saying it, maybe I will start to believe it?

You know my heart dropped and I said \"Oh sh**!\" when a mom on here inadvertently wrote about Mother\'s Day in early April. I think most of us dread it and all the holidays. The weather has been all over the place this year. I hope this is \"Your Friday\" so that you have the weekend to restore yourself. Our \"tomorrow will be better\" is \"Fake it until you make it.\"
Sending love your way,

It was sunny and bright here and I stayed in bed all day, then got up, went back to bed and slept more. Nah it isn\'t the weather as far as i\'m concerned. it\'s my heart. Hurting and in pain. There are many steps here and there, front and back, up and down. Don\'t worry about the steps. Just rest, take care of you, do what you need to do, feel what you need to feel. That is what\'s important right now. There will be days that seem calm, then tears start. It\'s all part of this insane path we are all on. AND it\'s different for each one of us yet similar all at the same crazy time.

Georgia weather is all over the place lately too. Right now it seems we\'re in monsoon season!

I know Christine sent the card with much love....and probably after much thought and worry, hoping it would be the right thing and not cause more pain.

My Mother\'s Days have been all over the place, this will be the 7th since Kala\'s accident.....but I\'m always so happy when Kala\'s friends text me or when Latia calls me to wish me a Happy Mother\'s Day. It\'s bittersweet, for sure, but it means so much knowing they are thinking of me on that day. It\'s better, for me, than to hear nothing that day....

One of my greatest gifts happened on the very first Mother\'s Day after Kala\'s accident. I know Kala was making sure I saw her, felt her, that day....and I did. If you don\'t know my story and would like too, just ask, I\'ll be happy to share.

Hold on darling, we will survive Mothers Day together as best we can. Maybe tears, maybe smiles, maybe with friends, maybe alone....but heart to heart we moms will do it together, thinking of each other and sending love energy.

Tightest of heart hugs~~Teri

Understanding the baby steps forward and then some backward yet never, ever being where we started on that fateful day. That is a heartstring that I hold onto.

Gentle care to you and together we will navigate these challenging days. Somehow there\'s always the day after and huge sighs of relief...

Loving care,

My co-workers often laugh at me for coming to work at 12:30 pm in my winter coat while it is 75 degrees outside...I tell them to laugh all they want because I will be warm when I leave work at night and it is back down in the 40\'s! Mother\'s Day is my most difficult day to get through, even surpassing my son\'s Angel Date. However, I usually work that day (as all weekends) and think of it as just another day. A \"regular\" day, as Nora said. I miss my son no more on that day than I do any other day of the year, and it is just a number on the calendar. At least that is how I do it as well!
Hugs, Belinda
