You know what? ---Having no job sucks!
I have only been out of work for a little more than 2 weeks but I'm already worried. Today I received a phone call for a interveiw, but I had to turn it down and apologize for even applying and wasting their time. It was a receptionists job and I don't want to settle for one yet because I have a college background for clinical jobs and being a receptionist for a period of time would only dampen my chances of ever getting hired where I can use my skills. She was rude, but I can understand her furstration---plus when I went back to look the application over to see how I could have missed the actual job discription I can only imagine how many other people did the same thing as me. This is getting frustrating trying to find a job, I'm trying not to be picky; I just applied for a chiropractic office, they said they would train anyone who doesnt have experience in that feild. I know this job would probably narrow down future jobs for me, but at this point I cant be too picky that I never find a job. And I guess I can interview them first before I poo-poo them completely. Sitting around on my *** all day has made me think about a lot of things... like--- in 5 years, what will my life be like; will I still be a unemployed depressed loser with no social life or partner? Or maybe I will turn into that cat lady who lives alone? ---Oh wait, thats already happened=( ...Damnit!
