yesterday

yesterday i had a moment of inner conflict/upset in me that I couldn't resolve

and put into a perspective that I felt good about. It was like a dissapointment

that I didn't know what to do with it and I spiralled as the time passed minute

by minute hour by hour. I felt bad that I might have been effecting my parents

with my stuff - and after I left for the day - I reached out to them and apologized

and they said basically "We didn't notice a thing." - I went on with my day

and it resurfaced again and again - even this morning it did so...

In a moment of decision of how I was going to live moving forward I decided to

think in terms of something "the power of positive thinking" - it's basically too what

my grandmother used to say "life is an attitude" - By looking at this - and thinking

about choosing positive - I realized where this negativity came from - that moment of

not being able to sort out the issue right away while I was with my parents...

And now I feel as though I can with hindsight.

I go with grandmother's adage that life is an attitude. I don't see the world as it is. I see the world as I am. I quite literally change the world when I change my attitude. I believe I can even fit my moments of "negativity" in that spectrum. Are my "negative" emotions and anxieties proof of my flawed character or *simply* part of the human experience? There is ample room for attitude adjustment in all my attitudes.

For what it's worth
I like the yin/yang analogies far better than positive/negative. My electrical design background tells me that a circuit won't work without both positive and negative voltages. I get wa=a=a=ay to electro-literal when I work the positive/negative analogies. ^It^ be what ^it^ be, regardless of how I choose to name and/or judge ^it^.
