yadda yadda yadda.
Hey Ya'll,
Since I don't have any gin & don't know the tooth fairy's address, I opted to lie down. That was yesterday.
Today is another day. I'm testy. Everything seems harder than usual. Like on a scale from 1-10, doing the dishes is a 14. When it's like that I tell myself to break it down. Pick something small, try to do that one thing. Build slowly on that by adding another simple task. Try to turn it into a game, hum "Just a Spoonful of Sugar" if you can.....if you can't hum it inside your head.
The new picture arrived, I propped it up on something to look at it. It is lovely. The colors, the use of light and shadow........feel some quiet happy bubbles. In order to hang it over the mantle I have to move items sitting on the mantle.
That leads to washing the candle holders, then washing all glass items........then cleaning the shelf. This isn't all bad, it's probably been a year since I did anything more than swiffer dust the shelf. It is a good thing. But it's a happy bubble zapper too. Doing things like this are when I realize how many details receive such little attention.
There are two solutions, pack up the extra knick knacks and hush......less is more. Or suck it up, clean and replace the display and move along..........nothing to see here! Yup, treat it like an accident scene. LOL. sorry for using LOL just don't know another abbreviation to represent silly. Not trying to be a bore.
I hung the new picture up. Let's see if it can work on the not knots.
The young lady who made it right, replaced the original incorrect item sent with what I actually ordered.....yeah, "Courageous Voyage"...... She felt so bad that she gave me the first picture too. This still baffles me, then today she sent me a card with the nicest note and a costume jewelry ring. It is ginormous, a huge metal sparkling flower with a giant purple gem in the center. I put it on and thought WHOA, that's crazy huge! (it reminds me of 60's mod jewelry)
And don't laugh, just want her to take the extra stuff back and only give me the actual order. The extra stuff feels stressful, I have buyer's guilt. Don't know if that's an actual term, but that's how I feel.
I swept the kitchen..........ahhhhhhh! I pulled some meat out of the freezer. Ahhhh. And I can pad back into the living room and look at this lovely new print. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Thanks for being you...........I'm hoping to return to myself sooner than later and lose this cloak of crabbiness. My ears hurt Mom, my neck aches.......my bones hurt. I would like to return my arthritis for a toy. Switch out CFS for a trip to see the leaves in the North Georgia mountains. I want to hand over the Sjogren's envelope and pick door number two.........even a zonk would be better than Sjogren's. And I will gladly give up fibro for nothing........just put it in a box before I leave the show and they can hurl it deep into hyperspace.
No questions asked......just take it. Take the illness please. Got doublewide swollen glands and it is uncomfortable.
Maybe if I make some jello now, I can nap and then reclaim some happy bubbles.......cause jello is cool and nice when you got a sore throat. Does anybody else have shrinking feet syndrome? My feet are getting smaller yet again..........I walked out of my slippers today. Am I a character in a children's story?
That would answer a lot of questions.
Sending some hugs packed in dry ice.......so they will arrive extra fresh. Open your door and let them in..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love your picture. So glad you were able to hang it up. Sure was a lot involved in dusting and such. We have to let the dust build. They dust bunnies all befriend each other in time, and who are we to bust up friendships?? Just because our lives are tough........!
PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!
Hang in there. Even if your feet are shrinking, you\'re still the perfect size to hug!!
Ruthie love the picture. Is that a Thomas Kinkade? I love allot of his work. I bet it looks picture over your mantel.
Went to the GI specialist today & don\'t need another colonoscopy until 2015. He said, he never has done one every 2 yr even with a family history of colon cancer. I told him, that\'s what you said...last time. That you would see me in 2 yrs. anyway it was nice to see him. He\'s been my GI doctor for years. The traffic was awful this morning. It took me 10 minutes just to get out of my community. Parents dropping off kids at school. Then my car showed low tire pressure on the way. Called hubby when I got to the Dr & he said, it could be from the heat. It has happened before in the winter time with the cold weather. These newer cars have all these gadgets on them. But I love my ford fusion. I slept 4 hrs last night. The alarm woke me. Usually I wake up before the alarm goes off. Hope you are feeling a bit better today. How long is Sam gonna be in China? I will be praying for him. Love you sweetie. Hugs & prayers. Xoxoxoxoxoxo
The pic is beautiful.... i hope u start feeling better soon. Take care sweet lady...xx
Yes, the pic is lovely! I know that task of just moving something and an hour later you are tired because you had to move and clean and find new homes for 10 things... I, unlike you, have feet that are growing with old age, like they say that ears and noses do haha. Hope you are feeling better soon. I can relate because I am asking for some cheese to go with my own Whine. It makes me crabby. but I pray that we both feel much better soon. xoxo
