wrestling in the hood

went to work today and that went well...

got a lot done and totally relaxed while working and felt a sense of

community - which doesn't necessarily mean harmony - but with those I don't connect

with so well, I just know that sometimes we do and sometimes we don't - it's the

nature of diversity :)

I came home and made the drive ok - I usually get so anxious driving - but I don't know

why - it's like needles and knives - but today I somehow had a sense of my appetite and center...if that makes

sense - I listened to some 80s rock and roll for a change and it totally made the ride home

therapeutic - if that makes sense.

I got home and greeted Blue and then made lunch. Rested a bit, texted a friend, then showered and dressed.
I needed to get two more 75lb hooks for the new painting over my headboard. It has come down from my mom,

to my sister to me...and I'll be the custodian until my sister wants it back. It's a big effin' painting and it

was a wrestling match standing on the soft mattress, finegaling the wire onto the three hooks.

Then jumped off - cleaned my kitchen trash can which sprung a leak - then cleaned up after Blue

who has gotten into the habit of MISSING his litter box when going to the bathroom lol

and then took it all to the trash bin -along with the recycling - and then came back upstairs, washed the dishes and readied my meds

and clothes for tomorrow morning. I am tired...but I guess I know that requires me to do what I am supposed to

do. I made a phone message to my therapist - just to check in - and then came on here to write this journal.

Writing is rejuvenating for sure! Feel much more energized, centered and calm at the moment.

Have a happy Wednesday everyone!!

Nearly time for my afternoon routine.

Peace,

m
