Wow, what happened?

Yesterday, I was feeling refreshed – almost to the point where I thought I must be getting better.  But now, oh my, what a contrast!  I didn’t feel I was pushing myself yesterday – did a couple loads of laundry and started sorting through my Dad’s stuff even though I didn’t get far with that.  I seem unable to face that yet. In the afternoon, we dressed up and went to a wedding.  The church was cool as was the reception, so I didn’t get overheated or anything.  We had a nice time.  I started to feel a little sluggish and breathless just as the wedding dance started, so we came home.  Still felt okay when I went to bed.
But this morning!  I slept two hours later than usual and awoke with a puffy face and feeling like my arms and legs were made of lead. Getting dressed was a chore and left me breathless with my head pounding.  My stomach felt a little queasy at first, but the omelets D made smelled good and I devoured mine.  I tried to sit on the deck swing since there was a cool breeze, but I just wasn’t comfortable.  Cudi wanted to play fetch, but one throw was all I had in me.  I came in and tried to finish the book I had started while camping, but I just kept reading the same paragraph over and over, failing to comprehend it.  I fell asleep watching TV so went to bed and slept another THREE HOURS.  I feel a little better now but my limbs are still heavy and my brain is dull.

You know, it didn\'t seem like it was too much, but it seems by your day today that you might have overdone it yesterday. Going out can really take it out of you, but I\'m sure the wedding was worth it. Just rest up because it sounds like you are crashing a bit. You want to try to avoid the crash getting any worse. You are a blessing. Keep your head up, dearest.

Sometimes a couple of loads of washing is all it takes to exhaust me for the rest of the day, never mind getting dressed up and going to a wedding!
I hope that you are feeling better today and resting well.
