Wow - what a difference T makes!

My endocrinologist has doubled the dose of T I am on, and WOW!!! Do I feel great! My voice has been dropping faster - I now easily sing a whole octave BELOW where I used to, and find hitting the higher notes I used to sing a bit harder and less natural. I have more energy, and the weight is starting to come off faster. I have also found I do not cry as readily as before - a welcome change, believe me!

A guy I never met before came up and struck up a conversation about how crazy girls are, then advised me to carry a guitar or camera around to help me pick up dates! He said I was one up on him, because he's been trying to grow a beard for a month - and got nothing, not even peach fuzz to show for it, whereas he said my beard was awesome! I smiled and told him to give it time, his beard will grow in eventually. He must have been maybe 17, maybe less.

I did NOT tell him I spent decades trying NOT to grow a beard. Why make him feel bad about himself with news a genetic female had better facial hair at 13 than he has yet to manage? I was accepted as a guy! So I let it be, and enjoyed it secretly. Apparently, I also look a lot younger than I am. Which isn't a bad thing, really. But,... Do I really want to attract ladies who are half my age?
I don't know.

I DO know what I find attractive. But age doesn't seem to figure in yet.

I also find myself getting distracted by the ladies while I am shopping. A bit annoying, but fascinating as well. Certain physical traits in certain combinations seem to draw my attention more than others - a certain build, a particular hair color, an attitude, skin shading. When all the right traits are there, it's almost impossible for me NOT to notice,... and stare, even if the lady is with somebody - even if she's on his arm! I am finally adjusting to the idea it's OK for me to look and admire passing ladies, it's natural. I wonder when I'll get up the nerve to try speaking to one who has caught my attention? How do I figure out when it's appropriate to do so?

Ah, the joys and confusions of a second puberty. Learning how to flirt as a man to a woman. I anticipate being shot down a lot. But then, that's all part of the dating game, isn't it? And I'm not even sure if I am ready to try yet. Maybe I better be alert to notice those ladies who decide to flirt with me,...!!! What a thought! After having NO libido whatsoever, here I am suddenly trying to figure out and cope with one. Do ladies still like a man who can waltz? Because I can waltz! I like to waltz. I also like to dance swing. What can I say? I'm into the old "Big Band" music and dances.

On a different note, I have almost gotten my mobile home cleared out and ready to sell. I have a buyer already - though I likely won't get as much as I'd like for it. Still, it's better than paying lot rent on a place I no longer live in.
