wow, i really need to write
I went to the market this morning - did my work.
Then I came home, made a meal and changed and went to the office.
Then came back here and have been alone except for a couple tiny
texts that I made and received...but alone pretty much.
My mind slowly pecked away at me. It's really shitty how that works.
I have made peace with myself time and again this morning. Trying
to understand how things work within me and trying to normalize and perspectivize
things...and slowly but surely - I went from a place of knowledge, to a place of boredom
and depression - to a place where my mind started to tell me that people hate me. LOL
nice eh? At least I caught it - and thank god I have this site to come to. Thank god for the journal
and the TV I have going. I have so much to be thankful for. I live a quiet and small life.. I am alone for
the most part...but I don't spend beyond my means and I save and I am supported by family and friends
who I hope I support back. I can live this way, but still, like most of us, I struggle and I am just real
grateful I have this place to come to. Peace, Namaste, Hallelujah! Woot! lol

As I read your entry, I wondered if the images floating through my head after, "My mind slowly pecked away at me." were a sign that I have gotten a little *too* involved with the chicken condo. For a minute, I thought you were describing my pullets now that they are the elder chicks in the condo. The place where you mind started saying that people hate you went something like this:

Just in case you doubted just how crazy I really am. . .
Keep on pecking.
Thanks Arfie. I am on my phone and I can’t link to the url.
I really rely on gratitude as well Marky..... Feeling grateful always lifts me...… Big squishy hug sweetie.....xo
Thanks Jan. I will be grateful. I will get in touch later. Peace, Mark
I LOVE THE CHICKENS ARFIE!!
I often wonder if bird flocks are the perfect metaphor for my anxious thoughts.
Peck, peck, SQUAWK! ! ! Peck, peck, SQUAWK! ! ! Peck, peck, SQUAWK! ! ! Peck, peck, SQUAWK! ! ! Peck, peck, SQUAWK! ! ! Peck, peck, SQUAWK! ! ! Peck, peck, SQUAWK! ! ! Peck, peck, SQUAWK! ! !
Perhaps the only real mistake I can make is to take those anxious thoughts seriously. Pass the popcorn. . .
Haha very funny. I think flocks of birds and people are so alike. We peck away at things all day long.
