Wow - consideration
I am having a moment of "wow" that my new boyfriend is just considerate. Not only has he stated that my happiness and emotional well-being are important, his actions back this up.
He asks my feelings about every step. He asked how I felt about letting friends from a mutual group know that we were seeing each other. He asked how I felt about adding we were in a relationship on FB. He wanted me to be comfortable.
Even in everyday conversation, if I say that I am unsure and need to think about something or am not ready to go there yet, he respects this, and even voices his appreciation for my ability to be honest.
Over the last 2 hours, he took one simple step that will help my business tremendously without asking for a single thing in return. He just knew I was busy with kids, school and life.
After years of being married to a man who never asked, let alone cared about my feelings, had FB private and refused to even accept my friend request, and did his best to set my business up for failure, I am totally amazed at the consideration.
