Would be
I was in chapel and I’ve become confident about what I need to do and I thought about how I’ve been grappling with
The different tasks I need to do during the service. I know at this point what is expected of me but not always the timing. I know in time I will learn it.
The nun who is teaching me is a sweetheart and we hug each other a lot but she’s not the best teacher for me. I was thinking how the elements of the ceremony are clearer when the other two younger nuns stand in for her. That being said I can wish all I want I had the perfect teacher for me, thinking the grass is greener, but really is there such a thing? I know I’ve got to learn it and I’ve got to be my own teacher ultimately. The coincidence or magic of having a great or right teacher is a wonderful thing. I can see how it would be such an important thing for kids to have, especially in the sense of passing down the talent or skill of teaching oneself!:)

i still dream of "perfect teachers" but i can't remember the last time i was younger than any of the available teachers. those brats keep looking at **me** like i oughta be the perfect teacher. sigh. . . where's my perfect life? ? ?
somewhere along that 60-odd year wandering wonder, i have come to wonder if it be the nature of questioners that our perfect teacher is ourselves. 'tis our nature to question everything. especially teachers.
Thanks Arfie!! xx
I have always been a self-starter discoverer type of learner, sort of a “figure things out through making mistakes” so learning has been an okay process for me.
But I know so many people NOT like me that I am always trying to determine what may work in each situation.
What you are learning is something I have never participated in, but I often find that the process of mimicry or understanding a previous example of something starts to make things “click.”
Can you think of things that spoke to you from previous teachers, and maybe phrase your questions from those previous experiences? Just thoughts!
Happy Friday, Marko.
It's nice that you're learning your skills from good people Mark
It's lovely that a kind nun is giving you hugs
Your new family away from home
