WORKING HARD
I realized I have been working very hard lately, both work and home. I didn't think at this point in my life I would be working so hard.:] But - - - it's all good! I realize that with gambling as much as I was, I really neglected a lot of things, and became lax because when I came home from gambling, I struggled so with all of the feelings associated with doing what I did, etc., we all know the "ride home". :] But anyway, I was thinking how non-productive I had been at times, forcing myself to do the things I needed to get done.. you guys may relate. So... back to my topic. Maybe now it just SEEMS like I'm working harder because I wasn't before. Hate to be this analytical in the morning. :] We are preparing to go away for a week; you would think we're going for a year. Lots of preparation, with the pets, clothes, house, etc., but it will be worth it. Hope everyone is having a wonderful gf weekend. Hugs to each of you! Stay strong.Smokeygirl

Oh I can relate! When I am active in my addiction, my only focus is gambling. That means that the house pretty much gets ignored!

I definitely wasn\'t working hard around the house, because all did was go and gamble every chance I got, or else slept to catch up on what I lost while staying out all or half the night!!! I didn\'t work as much, coz I couldn\'t wait to leave so I could get to the casino.....So.....I am definitely working harder, both at home and at work then before. Now I have to work to repair the damage I did, and that is hugely motivating. Hope you have a great trip....enjoy, enjoy!!!!
