Work Ability
I feel that my abiity to work is going downhill. I am having memory problems, typing problems, hand tremors, and general intellect problems. I work at home for now, but I think that others will discover my faults. It is because of my drugs and mental issues like depression, anxiety and PTSD. I am old now, older than my years. My ability is diminished like someone in their 80s. I have no future and will end up like an idiot for the next 30 - 40 years.

Look you just got a mega dose of thorazine...yes? That is going to affect your thinking for some time....this is Temporary.
And you really, really need to report the hand tremors and typing problems to your pdoc.
Ditto to everything Patti just said. Your brain is readjusting to a major chemical change. Once it adjusts, you'll be high functioning again. Healing hugs.
Big hug for you Thor..... This became a massive issue for me.... I felt like I couldn't learn new things anymore.... My pdoc thought anxiety was also involved but I have no doubt meds played a big part
The beauty of working at home is that you can take a little time out when you need to... Deep breaths, a cup of coffee and regroup..... Another hug.... It's trying for sure.....xo
It may be akathisia.... I have had it in the past.... It's basically involuntary movements... I think it's most prominent in the legs and feet but I'm sure it could effect different areas
I doubt that you will stay on Thorazine however it was a great drug to stabilize you back into sleeping and more calm … I stayed on a 'zine' for about a month
Akathisia
Movement Disorder
Akathisia is a movement disorder characterized by a feeling of inner restlessness and inability to stay still. Usually the legs are most prominently affected. People may fidget, rock back and forth, or pace. Others may just feel uneasy.
Kidney disease from Seroquel on top of diabetes misdiagnosed as thyroiditis I was treated for by error caused me to have a spiral with symptoms like those you describe to add to my PTSD, Thor. I feel ya. It's scary. I thought I'd have decades of being an idiot, too, and went from university teaching to community college teaching because I just couldn't function at the level I'd enjoyed before. Now 8 years later things are looking up again. I know, EIGHT. I know. Hang in there, my friend. We're with you for the long haul, whatever it takes.
