work
things are good. I am just waiting for my insurance social worker to call me.
We've really gone back and forth about this via voicemail a lot the past few days. Missing each other.
It's unfortunate. I really need insurance. I think he might have called out sick today but I am going to
stay in my cell/room all day in case he calls.
While I am waiting here for his call, I am thinking about work.
I definitely would like to do work where I am helping people with their relationships.
It seems when I try and be deliberate with my own direction, though, that's when my mental
deficit kicks in. So I am reminded to keep grateful and take life one step at a time.
If I work in a bakery then the relationships I'll be helping with is that they, the customers, each get the good
sweets they want. That's how it was in Malibu. Sometimes it was like I was one of Santa's Helpers.
Other days I just aimed to give people a good experience shopping and take pride in a job well done.
I don't know how to manage it. I don't seem to know how to manage myself or how to
start moving forward to a fulfilling career. But perhaps the old maxim of 'one step in front
of the other'.... each step so intensely focused on - brings reassurance after each
is made with a sense of accomplisment...
I know we each gotta do it.
Things are good. I'm thankful.

maybe my deficit comes from wanting affirmation -
and yet the external forces in my life, as well as some internal too,
have put the pressure on to not make a wrong step in any direction.
That thought really helps me! :-) Hopefully....
