Woo Hoo! Released 2.4 pounds the past 7 days!
I'm so excited. Now that I'm watching my carbs and eating the way I'm supposed to with my Diabetes Type 2; the weight is coming off again. I released 2.4 pounds during the past 7 days. Yay! Now if I can just get those morning fasting Blood glucose levels down; I'd be a really happy camper.
I also invested in something called a Striiv off of HSN. I started using it on Sunday and have found it to be really motivating on getting me to get more steps in. I'm a "gadget" kind of gal; so this was right up my alley. I really liked the instant gratification with the trophys, challenges etc that this glorified pedometer presented. I also liked that it counted steps when I was riding my exercise bike. That was a really nice bonus!
Anxiety level continues to rarely be a problem recently and I'm enjoying that. Usually around the holidays it picks up but the most I've had is very low key and I just go ahead and keep doing what I schedule myself to do. If I had avoided a couple of things that had me anxious; I would have missed out on a whole lot of fun and laughter so I'm glad I went anyway.
I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! Linda
