Within

Some say that what happens outside of oneself is not as important as what happens inside of oneself.
A really complex thought for me.
Ultimately, I see the truth in this as I heal the scars of CPTSD.  Yes, when the inside begins to heal (finds it's beautiful self and right to joy) and I experience the emotions of gratitude, joy, emotional aliveness in general it is truly an appropriate and applicable phrase.
On the other hand, I have some very serious internal health problem at the moment and I am quite worried as to what this will mean for me. I have no problem accepting death, it is a natural progression of life but the quality of my physical being is something I hope to keep adequate to self-independence. Regardless, I will do whatever I have to do to still be a creative and contributing member of the world I live in.
My friends, you are all a part of the world I live in.  Hugs.   :)
