wishing for better days

My boyfriend of 7 years was wrongfully convicted as a sex offender in 2004. From the day day we met in 2008, he told me about his conviction and what happened. I was understanding of his situation and I knew being with him would be hard, but never did I think it would be bring the worst out in people. while being with him, in the beginning of our relationship, my family (especially my mother), hated the idea of us being together and she made it her mission to make my live with him extremely hard. she made it so that I lost my apartment and I was homeless for 5 months. sleeping in my friends car because her mom did not allow him to enter their home. she told all my friends and family that he was a horrible person who was using me for money and  abuses children. I lost almost every relationship I had, both friends and family. no one trusted me because of my boyfriends conviction. For years I tried to explain to people how he was wrongfully convicted. he was 19-20 years old and did not understand what was going on. he was told by his public defender that if he would said he was guilty, he would do a 5 year in jail, but could get out early with good behavior... so he did. no one told him about all the other things like having to register and that he would be considered a sexual offender. he did not even hold her hand, all they did was talk. it did not matter how I explained it, because no one cared, no one could see passed his conviction; they could not see him as a person. For years I fought for our love, for years I slowly got my mom to understand that I was not going to leave him because of what she thought. I did the same with many members of my family. My sister was one of the only people who understood, but she was still careful because she has children, which is understandable. Now years later after years of suffering because of how people view him and emotionally exhausted by the fight to live a normal life, he is finally not required to register and we are getting ready to start the process of trying to get a full pardon and get it removed from his record, and now my sisters is in my life again, but she is going through her own share of drama, before I go any further, let my just inform you of some things. My sister just recently moved from Florida to Connecticut (where our family lives, including me). since she has been here, my sister and the father of her smallest child have been having problems because of the fact that she moved. My niece's father took my sister to court for her to return to Florida, which his was denied. Since then he has been starting up all kinds of problems not only for my sister, but for me and my boyfriend. how is that, may you ask? First, by calling the sheriff office here where I live and telling the sheriff that my sister is putting his daughters life in danger by living in a place where a sex offender lives.. now let me add that is a lie because my sister lives with my mom. I detective was sent to my home to investigate and everything checked out good because no kids live there...duh! and a report was written after my moms home was visited and a copy was sent to him stating that my boyfriend is no longer on the registry and that no children where found living in my home, and that my sister and the 3 kids live with my mom. Now he called DCF and told them that my sister is puts her kids in danger because my boyfriend is a sex offender.... now he is risking his daughter being put in a foster home because of his selfishness. honestly that man does nothing for that little girl. he lived 5 blocks away and still did not pick her up or go see his kid. plus he told my sister it was OK for her to move... why is he doing all of this now? he does not care about his daughter, he is just upset because my sister moved and since his motion was denied my sister doesn't have to go back to Florida. she's a good mom and he knows it so he's using the only thing he can use against her my "sex offender" boyfriend. I am very bothered by this only because of the suffering that both my boyfriend and I have endured by his wrongful conviction.  Also, the stress that come's with this conviction and the pain it is causing my boyfriend.... he is so hurt by it, he's angry and depressed. what can I do? I just wish for better days... I pray for better day not just for me but for everyone that has to deal with convictions like this one.
