wishing

making dinner out of leftovers......1/4 of a vidalia onion, two small red potatoes......a 1/4 slice of ham.......2 eggs.  call it Breakfast in a Skillet.......smells good.

another day at home......just added the diced ham......la la la la la.

what did i do today?  planned a pretend trip to Lake Russell in Cornelia GA.  found a hotel with a king size bed for $74 per night.....pretended i'd stay either friday and saturday or saturday and sunday.  fun game pretend.......

the hotel has an indoor pool.......with easy access to water stairs/sturdy hand rail.  happy find.  regularly $149 a night.......so $74 for a pretend trip is really good pretend savings yes? 

i love llittle lake russell......there is a lovely expanse of green leading right up to the water by the swimming area.  only canoes and kayaks are allowed so no noisy boat motors.......it's quiet and calm.  families grilling, picnicking and swimming....love this, miss this......wish i could.

i also checked out nearby sandy beaches at Lake Lanier....but the problem is that i don't know how easy access for limited steps they are........i called and talked to a park ranger.....gave me an immediate visual of the ranger in Yogi Boo Boo Cartoons.....he was very polite but didn't understand the details I was needing so I let him off the hook and wished him well.  I want level ground from the handicapped parking space to the water......how far?  is there a sidewalk, a hand rail....???  used to go to the main lake lanier free beach when the kids were shorter.....but i can't remember the layout.  ohhhh welllllll, no way I can get down the big hill at the Ft. Yargo beach.......but it's so doggone close.  blechhhhh........no near and yet so far.

i have a small blow up pool in the garage......i always keep one for just in case......feel not terrible and want to have a long soak in the shade out doors.......but where is the air filler up blower thingy?  dreaming in print.....time to eat Breakfast in a Skillet......about 30 seconds from mealtime! hugs. later you!
