winters first snow
It didn't really seem like a bad storm but it was heavy wet snow which caused alot of issues with the power lines.
No internet and no power. My generator has been running non stop since yesterday afternoon. I was able to get online through my cell phone which I tethered to my laptop. It's slower that way but tolerable most of the time.
The power company estimates power will be restored by tomorrow at 5 pm. Internet should be restored soon afterwards.
My poor birch trees...
Someone show me how to make the photo small. I still don't know how to do that.

Burrrrr! I cannot identify with that weather. We may get snow every 20 years but nothing like that. I so hope you are staying warm.

Bob, Toronto does not get that much snow. The snow goes south to Buffalo Further north , yes they do get clobbered but there are the ski resorts and skidoos trails
MelT2020 All the snow has melted thanks to several days of unexpected rain. There's just a little left in certain area's that were sheltered by the trees.

Barry Thankyou for the compliment....Someone I know from Blackpool, once told me that your lack of snow had alot to do with the gulf stream, so you would probably get rain instead.
Atpeacemary In Buffalo, they have to get the fans to shovel out the stadium so they can play a football game. Glad I don't live there. They need a roof over that stadium!
