Winter time
4:30pm in the afternoon and it's dark already. I hate that. The day was rainy and gray so it was sort dark during the day. No wonder I'm depressed. I don't if I'm going to survive this pandemic. I may not get Covid-19 but the misery it's causing might get me.
I thought about getting one of those sun lights for Seasonal Affective Disorder but my Psychiatric Nurse Practioner said it was a bad idea because they tend make bipolars manic. I don't know. I don't want to do anything could make me manic. It takes almost all my energy to do simple things. It's so frustrating.
When Covid-19 appeared it was spring. It was sunny and beautiful. The daffodils were bloomming. I was really looking forward to spring. Then the virus hit and much was taken away from us. And it's dragged on for so long. I glad vaccine has come out and are working on getting it to everyone. That's a lot of people to vaccinate.

I, too, have gotten depressed since the sun started going down so early. I bought a light box on Amazon for 39.99. Some are cheaper. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and haven't noticed a change yet. I read it could take up to 3 or so weeks to see any improvement. I haven't gotten manic and don't think I will. Hope you feel better soon.
Thank you, Becky. Hugs.
