winter time.......

brrrrr!  yes it's moderate compared to real winter, but tell my body.  my body thinks it's freeeeeezy cold.

sending out warm soft hugs to lighten your day........and care especially in care of you!  your day, your needs, your hopes and wants!

take it easy and know that you are a part of a circle of friends that seek joy and faith and love no matter what the challenges are......not the kind of pals who give up when the going gets tough.  we still seek laughter and goodness.......

i miss you/think of you/ pray for you......right now i am all in on being at home resting with brief intermissions at the doctor or somewhere medically related for the next by and by.........no plans on decorating or on going to any holiday parties.  trying to think of how to keep my mind in a happy place........to keep the darkness lit up by candles, night lights/flashlights, or  hey, why not good ol' electricity?  so that the dark moments don't overtake and the ability to stay light, to think light and to seek light stays firmly in place.

choose JOY.........love to all and to all a good week!  hugs, ruthie

And the light of Christ is with you too, Ruthie! Sometimes in our weakness and isolation, God’s light is the only thing to hang on to. And something that brings me great joy is that He holds onto us when we are too weak to hold on to anything by ourselves. I am sorry to hear you are going through such a rough patch. I hope it’s a storm you have to weather for only a short time(relatively short considering our broken bodies). I’m praying for you, and if you think you’d have the strength to chat, I’d love to give you a call. Let me know, and we can try to set up a time when we both have enough stamina to talk. Mornings are bad for me, but mid afternoons work pretty well.

Ruthie you are a beautiful spirit . The house furnace went kaput and its cold. not sure yet when it will be replaced.
I put up my jingle bell wreath. but no plans for doing anything else. maybe cook a festive meal.
I know you have been through and are still going through some very rough times. You will make it through my friend.
Rest and be patient and kind with yourself. ♥ you

Hey there Ruthie. Xmas is so close and I'm not feeling festive at all because I have had a lot of stress and want to hide away. However Mischa (12yrs now ) has been very determined that it is happening. Jaxli 21mths now , is into everything so a tree was out of the question. However ,Mischa used her pocket money savings and bought a new tree with her mother, Shantali, and put it in her bedroom . It's huge lol! She rearranged her room to accommodate the tree and it's all lit up with decs and all. She added a santa with a saxophone who plays a xmas tune when you press a button. She is feeling all pleased with herself and such a determined young girl to bring joy into our home despite all the stress from her parents

Sorry you are struggling my dear friend. However I know you will pick up and attract that much needed light you need right now. It's true what Morebooks says..God is always with you and understands your heart too.I think about phoning you and Morebooks too. I wonder if you could handle my Aussie accent.lol! Hold strong dear Ruthie blue eyes. Count your blessings...they are there for sure. Love you and appreciate you. Di xoxoxoxo

Yeah, these cold fronts have been affecting the whole country. We've been getting below zero. Yesterday I had to go to the chiropractor and I was cursing the weather the whole way there. Stay indoors and have a nice cup of tea. Let it rage outside. Love you.
