Winks and Tears

I have 2 different topics I want to write about, one happy, one sad.
Okay, for the happy.....I was at lunch yesterday at Red Elephant. We were talking about Cassi and although I had been in a good mood most of the day, or at least a neutral mood, which is the same as a good mood these days, I started feeling sad...Now, Red Elephant always plays an eclectic selection of music, but this one song really caught my attention. I LOVE Aretha Franklin...love her...and she had a song in the 80's called "Who's Zoomin' Who". I loved that song, I even had the cassette tape, lol. Well, anyway it's a really random song that started playing...It made me happy, just as I had started feeling sad. I wondered if it was a wink from Cassi. Then I decided I could believe either way, it was my choice...so I believe it was a wink :) It's an awesome song...if you enjoy 80's pop look it up.
Then when I got home I was removing my contacts and washing my make-up off and a towel fell off a towel rack right next to me. Nothing visible caused it...it was hung perfectly and it was a heavy towel, the sheet size towel. Also, being empathic I startle easily, but I didn't jump at all...made me wonder..."Is that you Baby??" Again, it came down to being my decision...Thank you Cassi!!! I love you!!!

Now the sad...watching Parisian medics load body bags into ambulances...each containing a human being loved by many and now broken hearted. I am so sad for them. I wish we could all go hold their hands...sit with them and their pain. They are us...I believe we all come from the same source and I know their pain, we all know their pain.

Love you Sisters,
Gina

Yay Cassi! I think our kids are trying to reassure us as Christmas, and Thanksgiving for you, are nearing. I have had similar incidents happen. Noises, missing objects found in strange places, etc. I too choose to believe it is Lisa.
I am trying not to watch the news of the Paris bombings. I feel so sorry for the people. I am absolutely livid with the bombers. They are making their own people suffer as I think immigration will be harder now for those who only want a safe place to live where they can raise their kids in peace. It is getting harder to find those places anymore.
Woops. I am getting depressing again. I hope you have a good weekend filled with peace and love.

I love hearing the stories of our children sending signs or \"winks\" to their loved ones. I too believe Cassi was letting you know, she is always by your side.
The news about the Paris terror attacks are so frightening. Innocent people murdered for no reason. It is so sad.

So happy that Cassi is giving you signs. I love to see my birds, Blue and red jays( aka cardinals) Hubby is feeding them out the kitchen window, They are fun to watch.
The scarest thing about the terror attack is that it can happen anywhere at any moment. I wonder when the world will wake up and stop the evil. I am praying for peace as there really is nothing I can do other than pray. It is so upsetting. How are we to take in people whose ideas are so off center. I read a post about Teddy Roosevelt telling people to be Americans if it is what they want. Will this be done???? I remember when it was said we would be destroyed from within this country. I pray it will not happen. Peace, Kathy.

That\'s it! That\'s the \"secret\" to all the many messages and winks I get from Kala....\"I\" decide it is from her! Period. I don\'t need anyone else to convince me, or to believe me. My winks are for ME! And, the more I give myself permission to believe, the more she has to share with me! I tell her everyday, \"I\'m listening baby...bring it\"!

And yes, my heart too is very heavy and saddened for all the lives lost in Paris. It\'s just mind boggling what some humans are willing to do to others. I pray peace for the families and friends, and YES, I pray for the terrorists to be gone from this world.

The winks are the BEST and they are always such a wonderful way to help me to pause and to say hello right back. Way to GO, Cassi.

My heart is so very heavy too with our world and I hope for healing for us ALL.
