Williamsburg part 1

I came back from a wonderful vacation in Colonial Williamsburg VA.   I love history and it's like going back in time. I spent 6 days there, I came by Amtrak and was concerned about how it was to get around.  The other times I came by car.   But there is a free shuttle bus that takes you around the town.  My hotel was not far from the bus stop so it was an easy walk to the hotel. 

I loved the Governor's Palace and the Capitol building.  There are a lot of pics I will post a few here.  There was a quilt exhibit at the Visitor's center.   That was the first place I went to after I came in. I had time between coming into town and when I could check into the hotel.   The building I am in front of is the Governor's Palace, the other building is the Capitol building.   I went to a Cry Witch special program.  it was a witch trial based on a real trial that took place in 1706.   It was fun.  It took place in the evening.  I also went on a ghost tour.
