Will it ever end?????
Hey All!
My apologies in advance, for this is a rant.....also--my sincere thanks in advance, for your listening to me.
I thought my C. Diff Colitis was almost gone....I had a normal week of restroom trips....then today....BOOM!!! Massive explosion! I will spare you the details.....but I am sick of going to doctors and the er.....Only to NOT get any permanent relief!!! Triggering line: I WILL fix this my self soon if it does not cease!
Also----my neighbor had a beautiful dog....it came over to my house and stayed more than theirs...I fed him, played with him, and he loved Milk Bones!!! The other evening after work, he was under my deck....I called him and he came out...very weak....I offered his Milk Bone and he would not take it....He also had a thick mucuous dicharge from his nostrils....I went inside got plastic gloves and tissues and cleaned him up....then ran over to the neighbors and told them. They came over....I gave them three phone numbers for GREAT after hours emergency animal care......they said they would take him tomorrow!!!!!! I said No!!!!!! He needs to go now!!! They speak very little English---so I went back inside and translated via Word for them.....they still elected to wait! The dog looked at me...wanting my help.....due to my many doctor and hospital visits and missed work, I was financially unable to help him...........the next day he was gone when I awoken....I checked with the neighbors...he deceased............I am still crying, mad, and angry as H!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They best hope they NEVER need 911 services.....for I WILL tell them....I will call for you tomorow.......
I am looking into how I may press charges for animal abuse and neglect.......but the "system" protects the guilty!!!

sorry you are having such a hard time physically and mentally. Losing an animal friend is hard and I offer my condolences. I hope you can get your physical problem taken care of.
Geez sounds like an awful week. Your neighbors are completely neglectful.
Rant on sister, that's what we're here for...but, compared to my rants, that wasn't much of a rant anyway. When I let loose, I really let loose. I think that because of the intensity of your emotions about losing your canine friend, you felt it was worse than it was.
As an animal lover to the extreme, I can not in any way offer any objective advice about the dog...except this, I can be rational about this...I am not sure what state you are in, but in Florida as well as most southeastern states it would not qualify as animal abuse. I can't be rational discussing how bad it has to get to rise to the level of animal abuse down here in the dirty south, so I am just going to leave that alone. It's late here, almost midnight, and I need to be winding down, not getting riled up.
I'm so, so sorry about you losing your dog, because it certainly sounds like he had decided you were his person, not those other people. My husband and I have 2 spoiled rotten Pomeranians. They are never left alone, if we both have to go somewhere, they go too...and wait in the car with the air running. If for any reason that isn't possible, we hire a pet sitter...and they still cry piteously when they realize we are leaving them. Like I said, they are Pomeranians, but if the crying doesn't work, they howl...they howl like hound dogs...plaintively, like we are breaking their hearts, and that's WITH a paid pet sitter trying to soothe them. I don't know how many times we have made plans, gotten dressed, tried unsuccessfully to sneak out, and they have raised such a ruckus and caused us so much guilt that we just gave up, stayed home, paid the sitter. Apollo is 11 years old, he was a birthday present for Cassi...and Chloe is 9 1/2 years old. They are senior dogs now. They have annual senior physicals and labwork...and we spend so much time with their veterinarian we have become personal friends. Any little thing, we panic. I don't know what we will do when the time comes...so I understand your grief, although it must have been so frustrating to be so bonded with him when other people made the decision that you didn't agree with.
I'm sorry about your other problem. I know a lot of people that have it, and have to deal with the pain, the inconvenience, and sometimes accidents...challenging for sure.
I hope you have a better week next week...
