Why? (trigger warning)

Two years ago, when I was 17, I went to see my boyfriend graduate from basic training. I went with his mother, and a family friend. His mother, had arranged "alone time" for me and him, without our friend knowing. I didn't want this. I tried to tell his mother no, but she said "No I get it yall are teenagers I get it."

We get there, I see him graduate, we go back to the hotel. He and I get on the elevator, and i try to make conversation, trying to prolong what is about to happen. Then he slams me against the wall and kisses me. We arrive at our floor and enter the room, and then he is ripping my clothes off and throwing me onto the bed and then he's on top of me and I am trying to say no but his mouth is against mine and I'm not strong enough to push him off.

And then his mom and our friend walk in. And I feel so much shame. My friend is mad at all of us, because we have all lied to her. His mom is mad because she is mad. And the rest of the trip is so painful. It is painful because I didn't want any of it. I tried to say no and I tried to get away. but... how could I explain that? Who would possibly believe me, especially the way it looked?

I'm ashamed of it. And i feel like that friend, will always resent me for it, and be angry with me. I want to tell her what happened, and what happened the following months after he returned home. But I am too scared to tell her, and my family. i am scared to tell them, because I am scared of him, and I have no proof. How could they possibly believe me? How could they believe that he could abuse me, so much worse than he did that day. He was nice to everyone else, nice to me when others were around.

Another part of me feels as though I'm making it out to be worse than it was. But I know deep down that it was horrible and wrong.
