Why not a marital report?

So the government has criminal records that may impact one's ability to be hired for a job.
School.systems have transcripts or school records to see if a student is worthy of attending a particular college or university.
There are credit reports to help financial institutions to analyze a prospect's value as a financial risk.
Tell me why it is not important to record adulterous or abusive conduct in a marital record/report so others can be warned of the viability of a romantic interest as a spouse?

Those  who cause such traumatic pain in these way are almost always repeat offenders. Don't we have a duty to protect those innocents who will be future victims? Isn't this reasonable justice against those who commit these crimes?

My divorce is not even final and my wife of 15 years who betrayed our marriage and family through lies and adultery with another married man is now dating a new man. I believe he just went through his own divorce and seems to be a respectable Christian father. Doesn't he deserve to know he just went from the frying pan and into the fire? Doesn't my narcissistic and immoral wife deserve to be denied the ability to enjoy a new relationship with a good yet blind man?

I see your point. I remember telling my ex that I felt it should be illegal what he is doing to the family and I still feel the same way. It felt and still does like a criminal action. I\'m really sorry your here and I\'m sorry your going thru this. To be honest I am still trying to get over the grieving. Now I feel the grief has had an affect on my health. So should someone just get away with it and it seems they can !!!! It\'s hard to make sense of seriously

My wife does not feel she should take responsibility for the consequences of her actions. Today she called me crying because she fears that her children may be disappointed in her or blame her for the reagent iccuring in their lives. I felt pity for this narcissist who believes if she is happy all who live her should also be happy. I even tried to make her feel better. But what did she think would happen? She disrupted everyone\'s lives... Forever changing things. She has taken away security and left doubt. She has broken commitment and left betrayal. She has rejected love and left grief. Not hold her to blame?

Let me clarify something about my kids, I love them more than anything. I WANT them to have the very best relationship possible with their mother and I want it full of love. If I were to pass from this world I would want her there for them and for them to want her there. I would NEVER betray their live for her or vice versa. But these kids are not stupid. They knew how devoted and how much I invested my love in the marriage and family as a whole. They KNOW I never wanted that to end. They know they can depend on me as they have their entire lives. So they know she is the cause of the end of this marriage and permanently changing this daily. Of course they are not happy about it. I will work with her to make this new live the best it can be for the children, but she needs to take responsibility for her choices and actions. Perhaps one day they will even figure out she was unfaithful though I will not be the one to break their hearts with that information. She needs to be prepared for their questions.

Well, here\'s my story: My ex got to know a girl during a business trip. He liked her, HIRED HER to get her from another country to this country where we live. I was pregnant with twins and knew something was going on, asked him to please not extend her contract. Yet he did. Knowingly. He left me for her, extended her contract and she now got this super well-paid award at work. Yep, the got married, and work in the same office. They\'ll move into a new bigger home soon.

You don\'t believe the tears that my ex shed, too, before he left. He was torn apart I could see. He left us nonetheless. He said what he was doing was not illegal. I know though that it was unethical. There IS SOMEONE up there and they have to fear HIS questions before fearing the questions of their kids, too. I am sure your kids will very soon start asking questions. Stay strong, my friend.

You are right. God does not go against He statutes as His intentions for men and marriage in His own Holy Word. Our spouses have been given grace and I cannot question that. I think they must take responsibility and repent. I don\'t think they will because they would have to acknowledge what they did was sinful.
