Whew! What a day!!
So today was the first day I had a school 'event' since surgery... I had a 3 hr class, prep for GRE, math none the less! I had to be there at 9am, class went to noon.
I had to park quite a bit away and it took me around 20 min to get to the class. Of course no pain meds this am cause I was driving. Normally no pain meds in the am is no biggie 10 days out.... but by the time I was done and back home, I was pretty much a mess :)
I took 2 pills, and let them kick in before I had my lunch. Then I had some refried beans.... First time I got sick of any degree! I was so sure I was going to throw up! I am so thankful for the nausea meds the doc gave me or I'd have for sure puked!
I am feeling much better now.... and am about ready to go for a short walk. I counted my walks to and from the car this am as 3 of my 6 for the day.
I am thankful I have not been sick and am doing so well overall. Even today, I was able to recover pretty quick! All of this has been a good reminder tho that I am not all recovered yet and still need to take it easy :) :) One day at a time, no hurry necessary!
