wherever you go, there you are!
maybe not a new phrase, but it holds new meaning for me.
walking back from the dry cleaners this morning, i felt undermined
by some of my scrambled energy...weak, upset...but I realized that I still have to take
care of my life and the things in my life. That focus was calming and engaging
of my senses. I thought about the monastery and thought 'even if I were there,
I would still be a guy taking care of my life'... So, I'd probably have moments of
scramble brains and panic there too - but then would have to take care of life there.
So wherever you go, there you are! .....I am starting to think that in 'knowing' this now
the question may be... 'who do I want to be with, as I go through these daily life actions?'

I've wondered often how t0 measure the distance between *knowing* and *realizing*. I know quite allot which is far beyond my capacity to make real, or realize. I *know* inner peace is possible. Now to make ^it^ real. . . Them mountain top gurus make it look easier than watching MTV.
Sigh. . . The world seems to be chock full of easy says that are tough to do.
keep courage arfie!!
