where do you stand
on frozen summer treats?
giggling.......just finished a fudgsicle. the original sugar free 40 calorie per pop yummy treat on a wooden stick. did i say yummmmmmmmmmmm, oh yeah!
when i was a worker bee i used to fill the breakroom frig every year with frozen confectionary treats. then i would page everyone to let them know summer had arrived, which is code for "you scream, i scream, we all scream for ice cream." some things i do miss about work.....thankfully i can carry on this tradition in my little house in the north woods.
the last time i went to wal-mart i bought a bag of MONSTER POPS. i got cherry mango.......what a treat! they are freezalicious! they cost $2 or maybe it was less........just remember that they are super budget conscious, the brand name is $$$Budget Saver........nice. Anyhoo, they have lots of flavors, 60 calories per pop and by the time I finished my first cherry mango pop my mouth was frozen. I ate it inside the house and it took me a half hour............that is a MONSTER POP! It didn't get drippy at all........so if you get the urge to have a cool treat and you don't wanna blow 2 much on the treat aisle, this is a lovely way to go. next time i shop i'm going to get the banana flavor.
i did everything in slo mo today, but i did a good day's work sort of. the good part definitely! i put wire on the back of a mirror and hung it up. i washed curtains and hung them up. they are too short. yeeeeeeesh, why are they so high water? i can a. donate them. b. i can buy fabric that complements them and have it sewn on the bottom. now this sounds nice in theory, but i will be in heaven long before that ever comes to fruition. so now i'm really not sure what to do. i need 87" sheers for this window because the curtain rod is so big around. makes the curtains high water. i bent the rod wall attachments down in an effort to lengthen the sheers, but it is not enough. i do not sew save repairing things like buttons or small tears on things like throw pillows. not my bailiwick.
i heard this metallic rumbling vibration, but where was the noise coming from? not the computer, i turned the volume off and the noise continued....so i rolled over to the frigidator and opened the doors, closed them and the sound stopped. maybe the stuff on top of the frig makes it rattle sometimes? something not being level? don't know, just very glad it stopped.
done rambling now. think so, almost. annie is staring intently at a small bug inside the lampshade on this table.......something is about to go down. i also moved some pictures around and i windexed the finnerprints off of them. clean and shiny.
it rained again today a couple of times......nice! gonna go to bed now and read for a while and then i'm gonna sleep sleep sleep. nitie nite.

do you say fudge-sicle or fudgickle? heehee
Had some ice cream at the campground tonight. It was called Fried Ice Cream - taste like Apple Pie with Cinammon on it. Good stuff!
Hi Ruthie! Sounds like you had a good day there in thar woods. :) I saw you peeping over the Ga border at me. It rained pretty good here this afternoon. I was in bed most of the day; except to get up for an hour or so to eat something. Planned on coloring my gray roots, but guess it can wait. Ill but so concerned for my vanity. LOL (That sounds like a woman LOL) So much pain today...back, side, stomach, arm all on the left side. I burp with everything I eat. Seeing my GI Doc on Fri. Hope I sleep after being in bed all day. Here goes for sweet dreams. Hugs & love
I just LOVE fudgesickles!! Love\'um! It\'s part of my summer \"cool chocolate\" collection of things that go \"SLURP\"!!! Mine drip! I\'d like to know how you got some slurpy wet things that didn\'t drip in this heat! Tell ya though, your monster pop sounds really good! Fruit flavors in the summer are so refreshing. Banana will be good too! YUM!
Glad to hear you got stuffs done despite the heat...slo mo is the way to go, Ruthie!! I did the curtain thing in the beginning of Spring. Good thing, cuz in this heat, I don\'t think I could pull it off!!
Don\'t go crazy now. Easy does it! So glad to hear you\'re out of your chair and movin about!!
Big huggums to you!! xoxo
