when you're alone... do you get sad??

I don't know why I reacted this way...

but I had some nice moments today to start... I texted with my sister, my father and stepmom..

and then I had an online therapy session.. and it was nice to have that company for sure.... as the day progressed

and I did my work I noticed that the lack of input from others who love and affirm me 'got to me'... there was a lingering

crabbiness that told me I am not worthy, that told me that I was not so valued...but then I caught sight of that voice...and I questioned it...and I thought "You know, I am not so bad..." "I realize I am a flawed guy - and not so perfect...but I am ok...and who is perfect eh?" I felt bolstered by those thoughts - humbled too since I realize we're all in this together...and I realized as the day progressed much of my mind goes to that weird negative place which I hope

I can somehow learn to work around. I just wanted to offer this... does anyone else get this way?

Peace and namaste!!!

maybe it's the relationship with the 'go go' energy within that works it's way
against me.. maybe it's like if I don't have it engaged it unconsciously bombards me.
Wow! Now I know what it is maybe I won't get fooled now!! :) xx

But I do need to keep my pride ‘in check’ so as not to lose sight of the relationships at hand.

I’m not sad when I’m alone. Outside of my wife, I’m happiest alone.

Mark, yes. Being alone is tough. But thankfully you have a cool apartment and a nice cat. Also you live in an awesome state.

I feel ALL of my emotions more intensely when I am alone. I am more intensely conditioned to focus on the negative emotions, and I do so with all the intensity of my over-achieving nature, but when I can shift my focus ever so bit a bit, I find my more socially acceptable emotions are there, as well. What I feed is what grows. I work to shift that focus often enough that I not only notice those under-nourished emotions, but to take the time to feed them, as well.
