when the energies rev up

I got home from therapy, and didn't really like what she had to say - well some of it.

I came back home and walked to the bakery and got a coffee and ate the last of the b-day cake

my coworker made for me. :) I ate way too much cake - and the sugar and caffeine have set

my engine revving.

I am alone now, and I found myself searching for some greater experience to be a part of.

I kept on wanting to be a part of something beyond myself - maybe my routine of things at one point

filled this gap but now I feel more aware of what maybe I really want - I kept on thinking about this

over and over. This 'drive' within me sped up and up until I couldn't really organize myself to

do much about it anymore and so I find myself with anxiety and just taking it moment for moment

here at the apartment. Does the drive come from 'the body'? Is my body a lot stronger than 'my mind?'

I don't know if that's the important question. I just know that now that I am sped up and anxious, maybe

I should take another walk or just drink some herbal tea. I am faced with a problem/issue and so now I've

got to apply the cure/medicine. Thoughts inspired by Arfie.

Things are alright now. I hope you guys are having a good day.

Does the drive come from the body or the mind? Sounds like a nature vs. nurture debate. Personally, I think I will ply the Heisenberg Principle to both debates. To measure a some things is to kill the thing you are trying to measure.

Equally personal, I think I'd go for both the walk and the tea. Like Leonard Cohen in "Sisters of Mercy," I've always been greedy that way.
