When people issues come to a head...

...this is triggered, at least in part, by the fact that I'm working on a paper for my literature class and on Tuesday apparently have a writing workshop where I suspect I'm going to be in a group.
I'm thinking about cutting it.
There only seem to be two places on a face-to-face basis where I can function.  One is at work thanks to the fact that my supervisor is as sarcastic as I am (and we're both sometimes snippy on various miscellany to boot).  The other is where I do my personal training, because they're so good there it has come to the point of I don't care who trains me now.  Other than that, forget it.
This doesn't feel right -- (cuckoo), I know it isn't right -- but I'm not about to just walk up to someone and get some kind of a chat going because I still feel people are out to get me...
...okay, it's worse than that.  I feel they're out to kill me. :(
This is a bad trigger.  I couldn't sleep last night because the only go-between seems to be Skype, and I was actually looking for sites last night that might help me find potential Skype friends.  Nothing looked legitimate.  But worst of all is that I conceded to a friend last night that I am desperate for signs that people aren't out to do me in, and when she's the only Skype friend I have...that's a no-no.  It's just something you don't do.
But it's where I am today.  And coming off a sleepless night means today will be interesting to the bad.
