when loneliness prevents you from doing stuff

I came home early from my parents' house today. I have not been feeling mentally well

and so I excused myself early - and they were very kind about it.

I came home to be by myself. Maybe not the best remedy but it's making me look at something.

I thought to myself "What are you going to do with the rest of your day?" At one point in my life

I might have just channelled surfed and ate my cupboards bare. I also thought about going out

and buying 'drink' to make my day a little sloopy (drunk.)

The most sensible thing to me seemed to go to the gym and workout. It definitely seems the healthiest path for healthy

body and mind.

For some reason, though, the idea of going to the gym by myself and working out manifests such a empty and lonely feeling.

I am trying to face that right now or at least take a look at it. Where else do I see that I am preventing myself from building my life or not working the building blocks of life because it leaves me because of loneliness.

I am glad this has come to mind.

I went to the gym and did a workout. It really helped a lot. It might have been a bit tough to start - but the results were great. It's weird how stepping outside my boundary of routine behavior makes me question the value of my efforts.
It seems like a lonely road and yet I have to believe in me and my life - no one else can do it for me. I wonder if I even think I am worth it - but I must believe so - and so I will believe.
