when it's just not enough...it happens
I decided to go a little overbudget today and went to the Starbucks a second time
and got a vente chai tea latte (hot.) It was good but a little too sweet. Anyway,
no big deal.
I'm writing because I had an online conversation with someone just prior to going.
I don't know if the conversation upset me or if it's the sweetness of the tea (I know this
sounds crazy) but I'm just back home now - getting back to the plan I had for the day -
I didn't really have a plan but I do have regular shows on TV I watch and so that's a catch all
default structure to my day. So it makes me feel like I am doing "something."
For some reason, I am having a little hard time emotionally getting on with my day - feeling lonely,
feeling like the default is NOT ENOUGH. But I suppose it happens that we kind of just have to
deal with the lackluster day ( I know this sounds crazy) but just typing these thoughts out is
in some way my way of reclaiming and giving myself a perspective.
There's other stuff I could do around here. I hope you guys are having a good day!!
Sending prayers and good vibes.

Every voice in my 40+ year psychotherapy choir says the socialization permitted by Corona marshal law is nowhere near enough. Even with my voluntary isolation, the not-so-funny thing about isolation was that it makes the smallest of passing comments echo more loudly than The Bells of Saint Mary. The forced isolation doesn't seem to be an improvement on the theme. Isolation amplified by authority issues?
Doing the best I can with the resources available to me. Maintaining the proper social distances required by my mask phobia.
I miss indecently exposed smiles and random acts of kindness. Maskites are mean.
