When help makes you feel bad
So I had a good day, considering I didn't get to work until 2pm. (My cat napped on my lap, she hardly cuddles and when she does I enjoy it). After that I renewed my perscription, called about the Walgreens job, got on a new job search forum and got a career advisor.
Then I looked around for a job on the job search forums and that's when my mom came in. She asked me things like "have you tried retail? office work? general labor?" After I said yes to all of them, she got frustrated and left. That's when I quickly got depressed, like I've exhausted all my leads.
I know mom means well and she does help, and I love her for helping me more than I think she should at my age. But, don't you think it's weird that when people help it just makes you feel, bad?
