when did the world become soooo casual?

i've seen plenty of folks at wal mart in their pj's and slippers, not sick, just regular folks shopping.

today is a new one........the son of my cross street neighbor and his girlfriend are outside doing work in their pj's.  he's cleaning the gutters in plaid flannel jammies and she's wearing darker jammies......as she rakes up the leaves.

are there any fashion morays anymore or does literally anything go?

i remember years ago when i young woman walked into my place of employment in Texas wearing a black diaphanous gown, a peignoir set actually and asked me for a job application.  on the line where we ask what type of position do you seek she wroke WOK.

we weren't sure if she knew she was in pj's or what was going on.........bless her pea pickin' heart!

i am feeling better today, got a lot of nausea, but hey, after days of migraine i can fake it to make it all day long.

i ate too much breakfast.....which is on me, so dumb!  got excited that i craved food and wasn't scared to eat......live and learn is the rule i have to learn over and over again.

the kitties say hi!!!!!!!   mia is working the nightshift now......she gets up every time i do at night and sits on my spot.  i pick her up and sit her down close to my ribs. her little purr engine just a goin'!  we're doing ok.  i managed to get my small suitcase out of the garage......i have the rest of today and most of tomorrow to pack it up.  rio on dayshift stays very close to my side......the nurse lisa couldn't get over how attentive rio was to me as i got my infusion.  they both looked after me well all week!!!!!! sweet kitties......yay.

also need to remember to p/u my meds and get a new garage door opener.  my genie opener is broken..........uh oh.  another trip to home depot is needed.  i finally got the new toilet seat out of the box, it's the RIGHT size this time......but i can't unscrew the doohickies that keep it latched to the commode.  i'm a lady wimp.  gosh.

hopefully sam can help me a little bit tomorrow.......not sure when he'll come this way.  love to all and to all a big hug!
