What will the weekend be like??

Yesterday was SO NICE! J was off work and L wasn't at daycamp (we can only afford every other week), so we did errands and saw "Wall E" (fun movie!) We went to the Farmer's Market and...well, I felt so nice and NORMAL!    TODAY...while I don't feel so bad physically, psychologically, I'm very unstable; high anxiety levels, shaking, bursting into tears, everything seems scary, everything that needs to be done -like plan for and making dinner- seems a major, unsurmountable problem that I can barely deal with. I was going to take advantage of J having to go in late and go out by myself and have a bagel and coffee...some Quiet Time when I can turn off the Mommy Radar for an hour, then  get some groceries for the Fourth and come home. But I had to cancel all that. I feel like I'm experiencing a mental earthquake; all my mental foundations are rocking and unstable. This causes the anxiety as well as removes patience and tolerance. I need peace and quiet. I need some responsible adult here talking tome and helping me ground myself. Although it's a lovely day, I'm upset, disconnected, unstable, anxious, fretting, shaking...and in a couple hours when J is gone, I might still be the same, or I could be worse. And tomorrow, I might be better and we'll have a Happy Fourth, or I could be worse and J and L have to work around my misery.   Oh, there goes the stomach, now....probably from the stress of being stressed. Why not. And I'm trying not to get too emotionally affected, but am not doing a good job. I don't want to fall into another depression. And I don'twant to end up again in another Abyss of Dementia. I must fight it. I will NOT get depressed. I will do what I can do today, and when I need to go to bed, I will go to bed. L will just have to amuse herself. (I feel for her; I'm obviously no fun, and none of her friends have called her to get together.)   CAN THIS PLEASE STOP NOW!?!? I, and my family, have had ENOUGH!

I am glad to hear that you are learning to rest and remove yourself from overwhelming tasks when you can. Your daughter sounds old enough to find things to do to entertain herself. If you feel out of control after trying other ways to calm down, then do you have a prescription for a tranquilizer. I hope you have a nice relaxing holiday this w/e. ((HUGS)))
