What we have

Sometimes all we have is that we're holding down the fort, being self responsible, taking care of business.

I'll focus on my mission statement on Saturday.

Right now...well.... I'm doing well enough. Peace.

Peace, Markus. Well enough is good. Me? Same. Countdown to Saturday in progress.

Thanks Nikki! I thought about you while at work today. My boss doesn’t like to teach people how to do things. She said she doesn’t have the patience. She is super nice but is more the muscle, if you know what I mean,, to keep the department going and headed in the right direction. I have to structure what I do on my own and it’s ok I can do that.

It makes us all shake our heads a bit and it demoralizes, like today. But keep on keeping on!

I hear you. I shake my head a lot lately. If people paused to get the accurate information and read the actual emails before responding there would be so many more efficiencies. I vented at work today to a trusted person and I have a lot of supportive people offering up help, so it’s all acknowledged how crazy my situation is right now. I worked 11 and 12 hour days and today I left after 9 hours then logged on from home to finish up some things.

Feeling demoralized is the worst, but usually there are peers to be found in the madness. Kinda like here. Hehe.

I joked to an executive the other day that I’m starting a support group at work. It’s actually not a bad idea. Ha. Mental health at work is a MAJOR reason people leave jobs. It matters!!!!!

That is a good idea. For some reason I just imagined a retreat might help everyone recharge and get inspired.
