I've had a decent day...and am happy.
I did a lot of good work at the market and then came home, ate lunch and quickly took a shower
so that I could be fresh and clean for my therapy appointment at 10am PST.
My therapist is a great person and seeing her today after not having seen her for about
10 days was a welcome thing for sure.
We talked about a lot of things and after we spoke I found myself kind of awakening to certain
things - that I've been writing about here as well- and I suppose it's all a kind of natural progression.
Recently I wrote about "Accepting things as they are"
and so in that same vein today using "acceptance of things as they are"....I am really getting aware of my personal feelings about how I am living.
I am really getting aware of what I like doing around here at home. I am grateful.
So very grateful for my life and my routine and our work (my Dr. and Me) together.
I feel awakened.
I realize it's real important that I be ok with the way I am leading my life
and the choices I make - I know that's an objectified view of it -
but I am starting to get more open to accepting my own perspective
and sensibility to 'being ok with things.' The cards I've been dealt and the
cards we all have been dealt with here, certain choices have been made for us
if that makes sense but the 'what I am doing now with it', I feel good about.
I realize I had to and have to negotiate relationships out there -
the two visions or entities aren't so at odds right now
that they're not surmountable. It's tough going at times, like
I don't have much to hold on to at times inside - but keep on keeping
on is what makes it in part to make it all achievable and managed.
I don't know if i have described it fully - but in time I may be better at talking about it.
I'm thinking about choices...generally...and I am so grateful.

The longer I practice radical acceptance, the more I believe it leaves me better able to **just** be myself, live out loud and allow the world around me the same dignity.
I hope you decide to pass the popcorn. I'll pass the jujubees. . .
I LOVE jujubees. They’re rough on the teeth though!:)
Glad you had a good “sesh” as I’ve heard the kids call it. Sounds like good things are coming into focus for you, perspectives steadily balancing and positive work ahead. Hoooray!
Thanks Nikki!
Glad you like your tdoc so much and that she has helped you.
Evil grin. . .
My teeth can't handle jujubees, at all. I just love saying the name while putting the children of dentists through college.
Want some more jujubees?
Thanks Becky and Arfie!
