What do you think about this?

Today I somehow managed to get my notes caught up everywhere, which is good because I don't have a response from the science department dean about what to do regarding help (@ WyndWytch: I'm glad you warned me about that, but for current situation a 72-hour turnaround is not going to be fast enough because there is no doubt I'm going to need practice time before the exam).
Summerwind81, this is where talking to you last night really meant a lot to me.  Here's what I want to try:
* The class meets tomorrow, so I'm hoping to seek out the girl who found me in a heap outside the lab before class starts.  The hope is to ask her if she got one of the concepts that I'm not getting, with further hope that she actually will have some time either tomorrow or after Friday's lab to help wrap it around my head.
But the truth is, I'm still kinda scared of this girl, so the odds that this doesn't work for any reason or no reason are pretty high.  So...
* If this doesn't work, I want to see if YouTube can help.  I have it on good information that while it's not fail safe, it at least offers a decent chance of finding something that I'd actually be willing to watch, given that apparently some academic help sites that otherwise would charge money post their videos on YouTube as well.  I don't like the idea of a hit-or-miss hunt but most of what I have to do over the next week centers on just studying for exams now, and that takes the pressure off just enough...I hope.
Thoughts?  Any other ideas?

you mentioned some piece of software the class had that you could get on the cheap, is that still an option?

Not only is it an option, I\'ve got it, and it has been useful in pointing out which concepts I\'m not getting. But it doesn\'t offer any videos or other material that would offer a different explanation, so it has been far from fail-safe. That\'s why the YouTube option, as much as I\'d rather have live help despite all my people issues and quirks, is out there, because tbh I\'m not optimistic that this is going to work out...so much has to happen besides her being there (she needs an open spot on her schedule, she actually has to know the concept, etc.) that I just can\'t bank on it.

well if she offered help then she probably understands, so i think you will be okay, but I think your only option in the short term would be the net since the tutor don\'t have anything and it will be time till the person responds, so short term, use youtube. that should afford time for you to talk to the chair :D
