what do you practice?

I have been finding lately a greater clarity and then too the habitual knocking me off my

center by the inevitable forces of life. I feel like what I have been struggling to understand, and the habits of creating perspective is proving very supportive. I heard a scientist say on a show last night when there was a scary situation "and then my training kicked in." It rang true to me. My training, what I practice to understand and be responsible for in my life is proving fruitful and useful.

Last night I experienced some upset and mania - but I kept to my routine and did the things that were covering what I was responsible for - and also what I usually do. It really helped. I went to work this morning and though I was still feeling really splintered by life, I kept with my responsibilities and with what I usually do. My practice. My training. When things happened at work that were out of the ordinary or out of order - these kind of relying on my training ideas helped me logically stay on path and not go histrionic or overwhelmed by the tasks at hand.

I came home from work and likewise started to just do my usual routine of changing my clothes  and making lunch. It's a logic, a practice and routine, a training that is helping me keep on target -

and viable.
