....what a mess!

that darn cat!  mia is in the doghouse of all doghouses!

i startled as i heard the crash.....which led to my dropping a fork with pasta sauce on my neck pillow.......major dismay, then i got up to see what happened.  dirt strewn from here to the west coast......all over the washer, dryer, floor, wall, window sill.......broken pieces of ceramic plant pot hither and yon.  and me giving mia the death stare.

dad used to always tell us......"DON"T cry over spilt milk.".......ok, Dad I hear you, big deep breath, getting a handle on it......see i have these ceramic pots that are pretty much one of a kind.  can't just get one that matches......

this means that mia got up on the washer dryer, headed toward the window.....leapt up on the sill, batted something, lost balance and all heck broke loose.......the pretty irreplaceable pot went flying, and broke to smithereens.

i swept the dirt into a container til i can find a replacement, put the plant into a big coffee cup, added water and hope it will be ok in the meantime......cleaned the floor, the wall, the sill, the washer, the dryer and thought bad thoughts for a while.  i'm not MAD MAD, that's not really my thing, i'm just super frustrated........i washed everything dirty, put spot cleaner on the red sauce on my pillow....left it soaking in the sink. ugh........

well dinner was tasty, that's something to be grateful for!  had leftover mexican pasta bake, it gets better and better waiting in the frig.  truly does!  that mia!!!!!!! she's not my friend for the next hour.  i need to calm down..........til i forget and it is a vague memory.

tomorrow is doctor day.  hope i can manage, that it goes well......hugs, thanks for being YOU!

Oh how this brings back memories of my cats!! And they can make messes!
Do you play with Mia? With a string or such? Helps the younger cats with stimuli. And tires them out eventually.
Hope the red sauce comes out. With you in spirit for Dr day ❤️ You

I'm struggling with brain fog at the moment, and am at the tail end of a virus with a pesky fever, so I'm not too sure I'm processing all the good stuff your sharing in your recent journals. Sorry I'm behind on them! Mia is a lively little girl! It's hard to care for pets, but the joy they bring is worth the extra effort. Hope you had a good doctor's appointment.
