Wet, wet, wet...

Dear Kitty,             Got up, had breakfast, tidied, panicked, rushed to lessons...usual routine. It's now almost bedtime, and I need to sleep, so this won't be as long as the others. Oh, but I do need to tell you something; I went sailing! By myself! It was petrifying! We had the general things explained to us, and, having last sailed when I was ten, I'd forgotten all of it, and I'd never been in a boat by myself! I spent a lot of it wet and covered in spiders (ugh!), and was supposed to do a dry capsize. Major Symes yelled at me 'Put your foot on the mast. No, the mast! Not the boom! Get on the mast! THE MAST!' and I was shouting 'It won't go over!' and then it did, and I couldn't get my leg over! So I fell in, and I never knew that you could actually get water that was so cold that you couldn't breathe in it! It was colder than the North Sea! Really!               Oh, yeah, I forgot to say; Josh asked me out!!!! I can't believe it! I've only known him for four days! I had to turn him down; I don't know him that well! I'll tell you more tomorrow; Cathy wants to go to sleep now.Lots of love,        FranoxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxP.S. An even longer time since...P.P.S. What do you call a load of viola players in a hot tub? Vegetable soup! (You can see that I've cheered up a bit; I've been reading viola jokes, and I saw the funniest play about a French Horn...I'll tell you tomorrow!xx)
