Went to the Doc

Well, on Monday I couldn't take it any longer and went ahead and got a doctor's appointment since the swoolen hard lymph node had yet to go down.

The doctor had some blood tests done for my thyroid and I am going in to have an ultrasound on my thyroid on Monday at 1pm. I am so nervous. She didn't sound very concerned, but she also didn't sound not concerned. I am hoping there is just something off with my thyroid at this point. She said I possibly have some nodes on my thyroid (which are normal for everyone) and that is what might be causing my issues.

We did not discuss my vision problems that I think is HPPD very much, but I suspect that's a whole other issue that I will need to make another appointment for. She also didnt try to feel the lump in my neck at all which kind of concerned me. Like, how will she know if she needs to be concerned or not if she didn't even try to feel it??

But she told me that I had a lot of drainage in my throat and my ears were bulging pretty badly so she told me to start on Flonase in the morning and Zyrtec at night because sometimes uncontrolled allergies can cause enlarged lymph nodes. I have been following her orders, but my post nasal drip has not gone away nor has the lymph node.

They wanted me to go in for an ultra sound on my thyroid this Friday, but I am going camping so I put it off. I sorta wish I didn't do that. I'd really like to get on top of this and figure out what going on. I'm still so terrified.

If you are reading this, will you please take a minute to pray for me? Please. I am struggling. Not so much with depression at the moment, but with major anxiety. I don't feel at ease. I feel anxious if I'm sitting down ion my couch trying to relax.

No one knows the future. Please pray that I can find comfort and peace and that I will have the courage to put my trust in God in these trying and stressful times.
