Well, looking at Moving as a definite happening within about a year - or less...
More and more with each passing day I become more certain that moving out of this apartment complex is going to be something that's completely unavoidable.
Oh sure... IF Ray had stuck to what I know he had " promised me " at first, then I wouldn't be having these thoughts floating around in my head right now. I'd feel at least secure in the fact that with Ray's help, no matter what the 2020 monthly total rental charges turned out to be, that together WE would deal with it.
But Ray has already made it CRYSTAL CLEAR to me in no uncertain terms that that's something that will NOT HAPPEN !
I would point out the " obvious " to him, IF I thought that it would make him change his mind and find his heart. But I know that it would not do a damn bit of good ! The obvious I'm talking about is that the ONLY TRUE reasons I'm sure he has in his thoughts for saying NO to helping with the Rent if it's 900 or over, is because it would mean that he would NOT be able to freely spend his money on " whatever " he wants to - " whenever " he wants to - every single month, as if every month is his birthday, or Christmas !
It would be a tiny bit different if at least sometimes these spending splurges were with intent to get surprises for " OTHER " people - mainly either ME, or some member of his family. But, oh HELL NO... It's ALWAYS ALL about HIM !
EVERYTHING HAS GOT TO BE ALWAYS ABOUT HIM ! ALWAYS !
Now .... even when We're facing the hardship of having to find a New apartment by May 2020, He's already been acting like he's going to put 90 % of the apartment hunting ON ME !
He mentioned last night already.... that someone at the library - this last time he was there - mentioned that the complex where Ray and I used to live on Parsons' Ave. is $ 800.00 a Month !
ONE big problem with this... actually 2 ...
ONE is that the " person " Ray talked to doesn't sound like they mentioned if the $ 800 includes - Water, Sewer, Trash, and Renter's Insurance ?
AND TWO... IS that place a condo ???? IS is a " RENT TO OWN " situation ? OR a simple monthly Rental situation ?
AND.... Can't forget this ...
HOW MUCH would they want as a Security Deposit, Application Fee, and Any Other Processing Fee / Background Check Fee ?
AND Do they require that you make a certain amount of Income Per Month to qualify for application to rent there ?
I wish LIFE as as SIMPLE as Ray TRIES to make it sometimes...
BUT it just ISN'T !
Of course when I just barely started to ask Ray about those other questions about the " 800 " a month amount, he nearly bit my head off in one sudden chomp !
At this point... the ONLY thing I really DON'T want to happen is for Ray to up and leave me before I've made my final arrangements on how I'm going to get OUT of here, and how I'm going to MOVE ALL of my things OUT of here !
