well, is it just me?
So, I am wondering if it is just me or what...
I was here at work yesterday working on my cases and sending out mailers. I took a few breaks and did my own thing. I remain quiet and do my job. My co-workers, also known as the evil bitches, were here too. They are never quiet. They speak like they can't hear themselves...more like a shout. They were talking to each other all day long, gossiping or whatever. Then when one of them actually worked, the other gossiped with one of our client workers and when the client started to work she gossiped with a different co worker. All at her desk, all loud and the cackling laughter was too much! Now, I don't mind some chit chat here and there. I do it myself. However, not all day long. I also do not complain constantly how busy I am and how far behind I am in my caseload. So, I tried to turn my radio up to drown them out..that worked ok until the solar flares made the radio go out for a few minutes. I sometimes feel like pulling my hair out. I don't know why they get on my nerves and why they bother me so much. I try to tune them out and it just cannot be done. I have thought I should tell my supervisor but what would be the purpose. I just really would like to be isolated away from these people. Put a bubble over my cubicle and soundproof the walls...LOL. I know it cannot be done. Someday maybe I will win that Lotto jackpot and be able to leave this misery! IN the meantime, I will just slowly go bald from pulling my hair out. When there is no hair left, maybe my teeth will be next!
So, I have been feeling ok. I walked on my treadmill again last night. I really wish I could do it every day. I just can't make it when I have a dragging leg! I feel better when I walk...all those good chemicals filling up my brain!
Ok, off to work and trying to ignore the cackles. The word "cackle" makes me think of MacBeth..."double double toil and trouble. Fire burn and caldron bubble..." ahh the witches!

Can you wear ear phones to drown them out or better yet, ear plugs? That kind of constant racket would send my MS into overdrive. I don\'t know how you put up with it. Are you going for sainthood? LOL
Gentle hugs, Linda
I wish I could use headphones or ear plugs. I have to listen for my phone though, so that can\'t happen. So, then I guess I am not the only one who would feel this way! LOL thank you! I just feel like I must be the only person on earth who cannot stand all that noise.
